The ice storm of Sunday night persists in the hill of Etna. Our trees remain
bent from the ice while the birds are managing to endure and perhaps even
thrive. If you click the link below you will see some of the flock of around
100 common redpolls that still visit our feeders, a cute chickadee, and the
turkeys that eat the seeds that the redpolls scatter.  When a redpoll is at
a feeder he or her seems to throw 6 seeds on the ground for every seed it
eats.

I hope to post non-bird photos of the ice storm as seen from my yard in Etna
