We had a single male red-winged blackbird at our house in North Haverhill
yesterday March 7. He ate at our feeder at several points during the day.
Other common birds at the house right now: tree sparrows, english sparrows,
blue jays, b.c. chickadees, starlings, juncoes, song sparrow, gold finches,
hairy woodpecker, and occasional common redpolls and downy woodpeckers.
Also, a little late in reporting, but on Feb 16 saw a flock of 20 or so horned
larks on Clark Pond Road in North Haverhill (in the late afternoon), feeding on
top of a snow-covered manure pile. I saw them on only this one occasion,
unfortunately.
Great view of a barred owl in a backyard on LaBombard Road in Lebanon on
Saturday March 5 around 2:00 PM
