K2 Sports is seeking a Ski Boot Design Engineer, who is passionate about developing innovative products for the winter market.  The products should be high quality, good durability, marketable, capable of efficient production and cost effective.  The Design Engineer works closely with the Product Director, Category Manager and Brand Director to meet market and financial needs.  He/she is responsible for managing prototyping/CAD for new designs and clearly communicating to the R&D groups, production and suppliers. 

1. BS in Engineering
2. Work experience in product development or CAD related position for 5-10 years
3. Adept use of CAD modeling and specifically Pro E
4. Must be a self-motivated
5. Excellent communication skills
6. Exceptional problem solving skills
7. Proficient skier
