Hello,

We're exploring the use of the Gong Moodle Module. (http://gong.ust.hk/moodle_inst.html)  
Are you using it? Have you used it? Would you be willing to share your experience?

1) How easy was it to install? If we use it, we'd be installing on a Linux server.  
Do you have experience with that? Tips? Caveats? Challenges?
2) How did it work day to day? Lots of glitches? Relatively smoothly?
3) How does the reliability compare with, let's say, the Wimba Voice Tools?
4) How much storage space did you end up having to provide (per 100 students per  
semester for example)? Is it anything like what the Gong FAQ suggests one would  
need? (copied and pasted from Gong FAQ:

"Assume you are running a course for a year and there are 50 students in the course,  
and each student leaves a 5 minutes voice message in the system every week. Then  
the required disk space is:
Disk space required for a 5 minutes message ~= 2Mb
Number of messages per student in the course = 52 messages
Total amount of space used = 2Mb * 52 messages * 50 students ~= 5G
Using a similar estimation, if each student leaves a message on the board every  
day the amount of space required would be:
Total amount of space used = 2Mb * 365 messages * 50 students ~= 36G "
