Hi Joan,

Unfortunately, I think that Wimba is the only voice tool that
currently integrates into Blackboard. However, I would suggest that
you check out VoiceThread, which I believe is used widely by others on
this list. My university is currently piloting it in languages as well
as many other disciplines. People seem to like it so far. We are also
piloting Wimba Voice but I agree that it is very expensive. I don't
know if we'll continue beyond our trial. It is unfortunate that Bb
isn't reducing the price considering that they now own both Wimba and
Elluminate.
