Norwich 2010 Birding Quest continues to seek to add to the total of
more than 160 kinds of birds found from Norwich so far this year. The
next bird walk in the Quest series is to meet in the parking area near
Foley Park in Norwich at 8:00 AM on Saturday November 13, 2010, and is
to be led by George Clark. This two hour walk is free and open to
Norwich residents and others. Children accompanied by an adult are
welcome. Participants should dress warmly, wear foot gear suitable for
walking on uneven, damp ground, and bring binoculars if available. Be
advised that inclement weather such as strong winds can reduce the
number of birds located. In case of persistent precipitation, the
outing will be postponed until the following morning from 8 to 10 am.

Road instructions: From the Norwich Exit 13 off I-91, turn towards
Hanover, NH. As you approach the Ledyard Bridge over the Connecticut
River, move into the left turn lane and turn left at the traffic light
onto River Road. On River Road, take the immediate first left into the
unpaved parking area which is the meeting point for this walk.

George
