I have been using a Smartboard and Smart Notebook for years, since it was one
of the few options years ago. It has worked well for me. I archive the notebook,
which is created during classtime, so that students can view it online from home.
Smartboard's express.smarttech.com makes it easy to access the notebook through
a web browser.

My only frustration is that ever since the latest update last year, I can no longer
type accents directly from the keyboard. I have been in contact with Smarttech
about this several times and they cannot give me a timeline for a fix. Their support
used to be amazing, but recently I have found it lacking for foreign language
issues.

We are looking at a new school wide standard, and if Smarttech does not fix the
issue with diacritical marks, I will be looking for an alternative.
