Dear Mountain Bikers,
Are you interested in something that can improve your safety when you bike alone? Do you want to be the first ones to test a device that will benefit thousands of mountain bikers like you?
We are a group of engineering students enrolled in ENGS 21, and we are currently working on a project that aims at improving the safety of people who perform outdoor activities alone, including mountain biking. We are thinking of coming up with a device that can detect and quantify the impact of injury and automatically contact rescue/medical authorities if the injured person is unable to do so. Our ultimate goal is to make this device available and affordable to everyone interested.
Therefore, we need your interest and your support! Please let us know if you are interested in our ongoing project, and if you are willing to test the prototype once it is made.

Sincerely,
Yinghan Ding, Nishan Subedi, Nirakar Poudel, Sophia Taskova, and Zheyang (Michael) Xie
