In my case, there is actually no faculty involved. Students study independently
and work twice a week with native speakers of the target language. I always stress
the use of audio and multimedia materials and explore ways in which the student's
study materials could be supplemented in more effective/productive ways. This
is a not-for-credit program; students apply to study any language they need provided
it is not offered at the institution. I am definitely not using Rosetta Stone.

Best,

I have been exploring the program as well. However, my faculty have decided,
so far, to stay with the textbook software for their particular language.

However, reading between the lines in this note, I was wondering if the intent
of this exploration there was to eliminate faculty and replace them with TMM,
as a few places are doing with Rosetta Stone?

Best to all.
