Job Ad:

Director of Language Resource Center serving the Department of Languages & 
Culture Studies and the English Language Training Institute, University of North 
Carolina at Charlotte. The Director oversees operations of the LRC and its 
staff; manages and promotes LRC support of language curriculum; provides 
training workshops and advises faculty in integrating technology into 
instruction.  Master's degree required, Ph.D. preferred, in discipline with a
focus 
in computer-assisted language instruction, instructional technology, foreign-
language pedagogy, or any other discipline promoting the innovative use of 
technology in language instruction.  Must be fluent in at least one foreign 
language and have at least two to three years experience working in a 
professional capacity in a college/university language resource center.  
Enthusiastic advocate for effective technology-enhanced instruction.  
Background in teaching a foreign language and in grant-writing preferred.  
Position available immediately.  Review of applications will begin immediately 
and continue until the position is filled.  Full-time, 12-month position. 
Salary 
commensurate with qualifications and experience.
