>Subject: Question about ESL textbooks and software for Chinese students

We'll be hosting a very small group of Chinese graduate students
working on a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences this fall.
I've hired an English as as Second Language instructor who has worked
mainly in K-12 (and is certified). However, she has little experience
with graduate-level students. We're looking for recommendations for
both textbooks and software, emphasis being on reading and writing,
and perhaps listening, so that the students can survive in their
coursework at this level.
Very best to all, Mike.
