One of my faculty is interested in finding (for free) or purchasing both
a good digital russian-english dictionary and a spell checker. Any
suggestions? --Lindsay Saperstone
Someone else mentioned that Word has a Russian spellchecker, but it costs
something. At UF, we have a contract with MS under which we get a lot of Windows
and Office software, including the languages pack with the Russian spellchecker.
The language pack is (as a whole) a large piece of software and is not routinely
installed. However, I got them to install it in the language labs. So if your
institution has such a contract, the spellchecker may be available if you can
get someone to install it.
