Project Manager, Engineering

Position Overview:
The Project Manager directs, tracks, and reports against work conducted in Engineering. The Project Manager works closely with the Software and Test Engineers, Product Owners and Stakeholders to facilitate timely, cost-effective delivery of software modules to Operations and/or other internal teams.

This position is based in Lebanon, NH.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities: 

Act as ScrumMaster on multiple software development projects within the Engineering team 
Facilitate the timely, cost-effective delivery of software. 
Work with the Product Owner to ensure the Product Backlog is up to date and ready to be acted upon by the Engineering team 
Maintain Sprint artifacts, including Sprint Backlog, Spring Burndown, review documents, and other reports as required 
Coordinate daily team meetings, planning and review sessions 
Create and maintain reporting mechanisms, on a per project basis 
Increase the effectiveness of the team by sheltering them from distractions, anticipating problems and remove impediments. 
Actively manage project and delivery risk. 
Notify management in a timely manner as schedule changes occur.  Prepare recommendations reflecting a continuous "best course of action" throughout each project cycle. 
Provide for full status transparency internally and externally 
Liaise with other internal teams to ensure project deliveries are internally coordinated. 
Manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
Manage a team to respond to important ad-hoc requests. 
Required Skills: 

BA/BS degree or the equivalent education and experience. 
Experience with an Agile development methodology, preferably Scrum 
5 years project management experience 
History of working successfully with experienced software engineers and technology professionals 
Analytical skills 
Planning skills 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
