Moin Svenja,
Wir können dir besser weiterhelfen wenn wir wissen welche Sprache du meinst.
Gruss, Uli

Dear all,
Only two days ago I received a request to translate a document into
"Bahasa". I had to explain to the translation agency that I am quite capable
translating anything into "*bahasa*" (language) as long as they tell me what
bahasa they are talking about. It was a whole one day delay on a rush
translation job just simply because the client ( a US governement agency)
did not specify whether they meant Indonesian or Malaysian (or any other
possible *bahasa*).

I do agree with Tim that I am as annoyed as he is about the uneducated and
sloppy use of the term "bahasa". And of course I always feel comfortable
with Tim as I can have an educated conversion with him using either taal,
sprache, bahasa, or language, and he will always understand me.

Uli
