Data Quality Associate for Thriving Environmental Leader

EnerNOC has an immediate need for a Data Quality Associate, responsible for ensuring the highest levels of quality for our energy and customer data.  

Data is the foundation of EnerNOC's energy management businesses. EnerNOC, grid operators and our commercial and industrial customers all make decisions based on our data, and the value of those decisions is only as good as the quality of that data. Your ability to identify, diagnose, resolve and/or escalate data quality issues will be critical to your success. You will increase our operational efficiency by defining and proposing targeted improvements to our tools, processes, and data models that address the root causes of our data quality issues. Through these efforts you will play an important role in implementing EnerNOC's vision of delivering data driven energy management solutions. This position offers many opportunities to use your analytical and presentation skills to communicate critical data quality insights to all levels of the company.

Key Responsibilities: 
*        Identify and correct data quality issues in our energy and customer management applications
*        Perform root cause analysis to identify sources of our data quality problems
*        Define and propose improvements to tools, processes, and data models
*        Prepare, present, and distribute service level reports
*        Drive data scrubbing and reconciliation initiatives
*        Participate in operations center activities during peak operational periods
*        Develop a detailed knowledge of energy management and EnerNOCā<>TMs suite of applications and solutions
Required Qualifications/Skills/Education:
*        BA/BS, with a degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research or another analytical field
*        Excellent computer skills, including mastery of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
*        Demonstrated skills in statistics and data analysis, including a working knowledge of statistical tools (VBA, R, Minitab, etc)
*        Attention to detail and a questioning attitude
*        Excellent oral and written communications skills
*        Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
*        Self motivation and the ability to work in a fast paced, forward moving environment 
*        Strong desire to learn new technologies
*        Strong desire to develop expertise in Demand Response and Energy Management.
Desired Qualifications/Skills/Education:
*        Experience with energy management, power generation, and related technologies
*        Experience supporting custom application software 
*        Passion for energy management and environmental conservation
