My department head asked me to help him put together a grant request to a local
foundation to purchase a Smartboard for my classroom. My question is this...Is
Smartboard still the best tool for doing what it does or are there newer and
better technologies out there?

I ask because it seems to me that Smartboard has been around for a looong time
by technology standards, and I have been somewhat (understatement) out of touch
with developments in the Ed Tech field over the last few years. So I don't want
to get caught buying something just as it becomes obsolete.

Thanks in advance!!
