Hi Chris,

It's a smartboard/whiteboard hybrid. The whiteboard part is a ceramic steel
dryerase board that has some kind of microscopic pattern embedded into it,
which their bluetooth stylus can read and transmit back to your computer. It
requires a projector to be installed in the room, but the stylus works with
any application and doesn't require specialized software like most
smartboards. I've used it and like the fact that I don't have to worry about
dryerase markers being used with it like I would with normal smartboards.
The only electronic parts with this setup is the projector, stylus, and
bluetooth dongle for the desktop.
