Greetings, LLTI Members,

In my capacity of Consultant Coordinator for the International Association for
Language Learning Technology (IALLT), I'd like to invite active members of IALLT
who are interested in serving as recommended consultants to provide information
to us, so that we can match consulting opportunities with IALLT members who have
desired expertise and experience.

Please note that IALLT does employ consultants directly, nor do we assess a fee
to either the requesting parties or the consultants. Any contractual
arrangements are strictly between the parties and consultants. However, we do
receive numerous requests for consultants with expertise in a variety of areas,
and we are happy to facilitate the connections between our members and the
larger language learning and technology community.

Some of the identified areas of focus include:

1.	"Traditonal" and "New" technology solutions for commonly taught languages
(FR, SP, GER, RUS)
2.	"Traditonal" and "New" technology solutions for LCTLs
3.	"Traditonal" and "New" technology solutions for ELL
4.	Language Resource Center design
5.	Language Resource Center Management
6.	Multi-use facility center design
7.	Language learning pedagogy
8.	Workshops
9.	Selection of turnkey and homegrown lab solutions
10.	Assessment of publisher-created content
11.	Assessment of faculty and user-generated content
12.	Technology-based assessment of learner outcomes
13.	Placement testing
14.	Digital object management
15.	Social networking
16.	New media
17.	Needs assessment and requirements gathering (systematic approaches)
18.	Other / miscellaneous

If you are interested in serving as a consultant, please respond directly to
[log in to unmask] and provide the following information:

o	Name
o	Title
o	Contact Information
o	Institutional Affiliations
o	Professional Affiliations
o	Professional Interests
o	Brief Professional Statement including (where available): References,
Biographical Statement, Consulting Experience - any relevant and supporting
information
o	Indicate for which areas of focus from the list above you are available (by
number). Your Professional Statement should address these.
o	Geographic availability for travel

Thank you in advance for your interest in expanding our language learning
technology profession!

Best wishes,

Jeffrey D. Samuels,
Consultant Coordinator, IALLT
