I had an interesting experience Saturday afternoon. I returned home
after doing some shopping in West Lebanon and got out of my car at my
home in downtown Lebanon only to observe a lot of crows flying north
over my house.
As I looked up, and then looked behind me, I noticed that the sky was
full of crows.....lots of crows. In fact, I think there more than 500
flying northwest from the Forest Street/Prospect Street area across
Shaw Street toward Union Street.
This event continued for several minutes and one could actually hear a
quiet whooshing of their wings and feathers. It was a wonderful
experience. We have lots and lots of crows in this neighborhood and
occasionally they put on a great show for me. I count myself lucky to
see their show from time to time.
Regards,
Shawn Donovan
