Hi,

Has anyone done any testing to determine the comparative speeds of
database events vs shell scripting sqlite calls? I have read
suppositions that sqlite calls are substantially faster, but I've not
read any actual comparisons. I don't want to invest the time to build
and test the code for sqlite calls just to determine this if anyone
already has experience in the matter.

Thank you,
Paul
