NEALLT/NERALLT Joint Fall Conference
October 30-31, 2009

The conference will be hosted by the Yale University Center for Language Study
and will feature the theme of "Distance and blended learning environments." The
keynote speaker is Professor Richard Kern, Director of the Berkeley Language
Center and Associate Professor of French at the University of California at
Berkeley, whose presentation is entitled  "Neither Here Nor There: What Happens
to Space, Time, and Culture in CMC Videoconferencing Exchanges."

Deadline for abstract submissions has been extended until Thursday, September
24, 2009.

Regular registration is $55 ($35 for graduate students), which includes
breakfast and lunch on both days and membership in both organizations.

Late registration (after October 25) is $65 ($45 for graduate students).

A block of rooms has been reserved for conference participants at the Premiere
Hotel and Suites. The conference rate is $133 plus tax, which includes a studio
suite, breakfast, and a shuttle to the Yale campus. You must mention the
NEALLT/NERALLT Conference to qualify for this rate. Reservations must be made by
September 29, 2009.
