Hi all,

In addition to the Purell hand sanitizer, we also place a box of
Kleenex on the front desk. We use the type of Kleenex that kills
bacteria (95% of them, they say), not the regular (cheaper) type. We
have observed that the Kleenex are used much more often than the hand
sanitizer. We go through a box of Kleenex a day during flu season,
while an 8 fl. oz. bottle of Purell lasts us a month.

Regarding the microphones, I saw an episode of Time Warp on the
Discovery channel recently, that showed a singer interacting with a
microphone. The amount of spit involved that the slow motion video
revealed was just gross. It made me rethink how much attention we pay
to cleaning/sanitizing the microphones properly in our facilities.
