If you would like to teach more, then do you think have enough staff
paid by the institution for you to teach more. You may consider passing
on the daily operations to an AD while you handle the more yearly
projects.

I am lucky, though I would like to teach more (I have a Ph.D.). But it 
is a big lab and there are a lot of languages to keep up with.
