Many of you may not know much about the "pre-history" of IALLT, but some
of us have had the good fortune to meet and even know the pioneers of
this organization.
 
Jackie Tanner reports that Joseph Sheehan, president of IALL from
1979-1980, and of the University of Houston, passed away this morning
from bone cancer.  He will be missed.
