For the past two weeks a flock of thirty plus pine siskins hs been at my
feeders.
Yesterday there were more than fifty along with two white-throated sparrows,
eight cardinals (also regulars), and the usual assortment of chickadees, house
finches, blue jays, titmice, white-breasted nuthatches, downy woodpeckers, and
an occasional hairy woodpecker.
Earlier in the winter a bunch of goldfinches were regulars but they have
disappeared.
Mike
