Thank you for the information. You bring up an interesting element,
which is the size of the institution. I would add, though, that the
number of students served (e.g., the number of language students, or
the number of language students who actually use the lab) is also
important. Lab use statistics, coming from students swiping their ID
cards as they enter the facility, or from a simple sign-up sheet at
the front desk, provide important information regarding how many
customers lab staff have to interact with/serve during a given day or
week (and to that you would add the number of deparmental staff and faculty).
