Cindy,

SmartTechnologies makes software called SynchronEyes which allows for
many of the interactive/collaborative functions that aren't already
covered by Smart's NoteBook software. I think that is what you are
looking for. Small

Plug - I will be going over how Yale used SynchronEyes and SmartBoard
(along with TabletPCs) at an upcoming Nercomp Session on Pen Based
Learning (http://www.nercomp.org/events/event_single.aspx?id=1702)

I think it's important to note that the SmartBoard is really just an
oversized HID and, therefore, almost any tool that is designed to work
for TabletPCs works in a similar fashion on the SmartBoard (or
Sympodium.)

Feel free to call me offline if you have questions about using the
SmartBoard in class.
