Been a looong time since I posted here. Just got a new iMac at home after my employer
went PC a couple years ago. Haven't had a real reason to script since then, so I'm afraid I'm
a little rusty.

Quick question. Do my favorite osaxen from early OS X days not work with the Intel
processors in these new macs? I can't get Acme Script Widgets 3.0 or Jon's Commands
3.0d3 to work on this machine. Or is it an OS X.5.x thing? Or do you have to do something
new with syntax, like put them in a tell statement or some such?

I'm just trying to do something simple, like:

acme replace "x" in "xyz" with "k"

... and I get "an identifier can't go after this identifier"
