I am looking for someone who wants to take an existing instructional  
graphics shop and turn it into a digital media center. Interested?

Ithaca College

Ithaca College's Office of Information Technology Services seeks  
applications for the position of Coordinator of Digital Media to:
produce, convert, encode, maintain, support, and recommend digital  
media for academic and administrative departments
provide and develop user support processes for digital media creation  
and distribution
develop and make recommendations regarding media for online learning
design and develop graphics, photographic services, publication,  
conference, and internet-based presentation materials
manage daily operations, software and equipment in the media studio
evaluate and introduce emerging new media to the campus community
Qualifications: Required: Associates degree from a recognized two-year  
college with a major in film, photography, new media, instructional  
technology or related field, and two years print, online or audio  
visual production experience.  Knowledge of audio and video production  
and online distribution methods; strong organizational, written and  
verbal communication skills; excellent customer service and  
interpersonal skills with the ability to work with the campus  
community in a tactful, patient, and courteous manner; proven ability  
to troubleshoot and identify software application problems and  
implement solutions.

Preferred: Demonstrated experience with: databases, PHP, and  
Javascript; print media, multi-media, and digital media production and  
editing software and digitizing analog media. Bachelor's degree from a  
recognized four-year college or university with a major in film,  
photography, new media, instructional technology or related field  
preferred.  Experience working with faculty, staff, and students in a  
higher education setting desirable.
