>Subject: ELFE Lives!

Apologies for cross-posting...

Many of you may remember ELFE: Elementary French Exercises, originally written
and delivered in Dasher (ah, Hypercard...). With the death of Hypercard, many
were forced to abandon ELFE, a wonderful collection of 799 drill exercises for
elementary French language.

Well, after several attempts over several years, we have managed to revive ELFE
into something that can be used in the modern age! We're calling it ELFE 3.0
(we had a 2.0, but it was tough to transfer to other institutions).

You can view information about it and download it for free here:
http://apps.carleton.edu/its/flt/osmain/othersw/elfe/elfe3/

ELFE 3.0 is delivered in two formats:
- Hot Potatoes, from which you can create SCORM or HTML pages for use in a
variety of environments
- Moodle (as Hot Potatoes activities, with incredible reporting and results that
feed the gradebook)

Disclaimer: Carleton College cannot support ELFE 3.0 in use at other
institutions, but if you notice errors, please do point them out to me so that I
can fix the source files.

Please enjoy!
