NEALLT 2008:  CALL FOR PROPOSALS
February 29 - March 2, 2008
Language Institute
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey
New Brunswick, NJ

Research Technology


The Northeast Association for Language Learning Technology (NEALLT)  
will hold its annual conference February 29 - March 2, 2008 at the  
Rutgers University New Brunswick campus.

This year's theme will be "Global Connections:  Language Learning in  
the Digital Age." We welcome proposals for panels and presentations on  
all relevant topics, but particularly encourage presentations, panel  
discussions, or posters in one of the following categories:

      Language learning with a global perspective (curriculum and  
outcomes)
      Showcasing emerging technologies including those that support  
global connections
      Language Lab and Resource Center management
      Future directions in CALL, Language Resource Centers


Proposals should be for presentations/demonstrations of 30-45 minutes,  
panel discussions of 45 minutes to one hour, posters of 25 minutes, or  
pre-conference workshops of 3 hours.

We encourage participation from lab directors and faculty in order to  
ensure a variety of perspectives.  Please consider attending this  
conference and sharing your latest project with us.
