I have a question somewhat related to this thread. I visited the
links of
centers that other's have provided. I've seen that some have been
supported
through grant money. Is there a list of grants that are friendly to
language
learning and technology? We have a small center, but I would be
interested
in exploring opportunities to expand it.

Right now, this is just a shot in the dark for getting a new center. We

Congratulations on the new opportunities! (And condolences
on the short time allotted for developing them -- all too common.) I
can't give you specs and prices, but if you're looking for
rationales, arguments, etc., you might find the opening section of
the IALLT Language Center Management Manual useful. If you don't
have it, you should get it, but if you need that piece in a hurry,
e-mail me and I'll send it as an attachment. (I wrote it, so I think
I'm allowed.)
