Hello to all!
Our instructors are requesting help with an online pre-registration form
(web application) for language placement tests. The way it would hopefully
work is:
1. Students go to a URL, authorize themselves as UCLA students, and complete
an online form to pre-register for a placement test time and location.
2. The online form stores inputted information in a database and the test
manager gets an email that the student has pre-registered
3. The test manager (instructor) logs into the same URL used by the
students, accesses some simple reporting features (e.g. how many students
want to take the placement test at which time/location, what language, what
level, etc.), and assigns the student to a given test session.
4. The authorized test manager tells the system to submit an email to the
student with his/her test time/location. The student can also log into the
URL/web app and re-check his/her test time/location.

If anyone of you has something that does some or all of this, or can refer
us to a possible solution, we'd be very appreciative!
Happy summer to all,
Annelie
