The Instructional Media Specialist will provide instructional design 
assistance and information technology support to the Colby community, 
manage the College's Language Resource Center (LRC), offer workshops in 
multi-media production and authoring with a special focus on the 
integration of technology in the curriculum. The successful candidate 
will work with faculty and staff to provide technical support and advice 
to enable them to take advantage of current technologies in their 
teaching, administrative and research activities.

Required of the successful candidate is a bachelor's degree and 
experience with current technologies and teaching methods, including 
digital video (iMovie and Final Cut Pro) and audio systems, web and 
database applications, Microsoft Office application suite, and foreign 
language computing issues (especially Russian, Japanese and Chinese 
character handling software on both Macintosh and Windows computers). 
Managerial and teaching experience is highly desired.
