I've used it and think it's a great tool. My university IT people had difficulty
installing it, but I don't know what the issue was.

Morning,

Am doing some testing of audio software systems this summer and came across the
Gong 
Server.  

"Gong is a free system for voice communication on the Web. It allows groups of
people 
such as students and teachers to participate in discussion groups using their
computers, 
using both synchronous (real-time) and asynchronous chat. It is commonly used by 
schools and universities for providing a 'voice board' for teaching purposes."

Gong can be used as a standalone system, or as a module within moodle.

I was wondering if anyone has installed and tried it ... and if you have
installed the 
server, do you have installation advice?  The directions aren't great and we're
running 
into roadblocks.
