>Subject: IALLT Registration Tricks

Hey, all... IALLT 07 registration has a new registration system that
has features not obvious to the eye. Finally, we can register the
university related (reimbursed) parts with one card, and the
unreimbursed parts (e.g., dinner for a spouse) with our personal card.
Here's how:

1. Go to the registration site and register for yourself, using your
university charge card (or any other for which you can be reimbursed).
2. Finalize your registration, without purchasing the non-reimbursable
stuff.
3. Return to the registration site and log in as a returning
registrant.
4. From the menu, choose "Make Changes"
5. Go through and add whatever you need to.
6. When you finalize the registration, use a different charge card.
The system knows that part is already paid for, and it will charge you
only for the new stuff.
7. Print the receipt, which clearly shows what is charged to what
card.

Pretty nifty, I'd say.

One "gotcha"... on that same menu that lets you choose to make changes
there is a "Cancel" option. This doesn't mean, cancel this menu, it
means Cancel this Registration, and your whole registration is wiped out
and you have to register all over.

That's it for this year's nifty registration tips and tricks. Try it!
And we'll see you at Tufts!!!
