>Subject: Read Gilgen Retirement

Colleagues---

Long-time LLTI contributer Read Gilgen will be retiring this month
after
twenty-six years as Director of L&S Learning Support Services at the
University of Wisconsin-Madison. During that time, Read has been quite

active in IALL(T), having served as both President and Journal Editor
among
numerous other things.

We realize that most LLTIers will not be able to attend his retirement

reception in Madison on 20 April (if you can please find specifics
below,
or contact me), but will want to leave a message for Read in the online

guestbook at http://lss.wisc.edu/readgilgen Your participation will
help
us create a memorable send-off for an esteemed colleague who will be
missed
by all of us at UW-Madison and the many LLTI and IALLT colleagues who
have
known and worked with him.

bb
