In order to conduct video conference, a port in the firewall has to be
opened. If you have a dedicated port open, and you know or only accept
calls from a known source, you will be fine. We run our system on DCHP,
but use the MAC number to ensure only this system is allowed on the
particular port that has been opened. The switch will only accept that
system . To date we have not had any security issues.
