Dear IALLT Members, (sorry for any cross-postings)

The fall season is finally here. The NERALLT program committee is gearing
up for the October 26th-27th meeting at Harvard University: "Virtually
Anything: New Modes of Communication." Registration and accommodation
details are online at http://lrcnt.fas.harvard.edu/nerallt/index.html

This will be a meeting to remember, so I hope many of you can come. Harvard
Square is a fabulous location, loved the world over.

We are still finalizing presentation details, so bookmark this site! New
details will be added very soon.

Parking Option: Harvard Square is on the Red Line, if you are coming via
public transportation, rail, or bus. If you wish to "pahk your cah in
Hahvad Yahd," you can pay as little as $9 per day, a bargain for any major
US city. Thom Hammond pulled out all the stops to arrange for this low
fee. Please complete the vehicle information so he can arrange for your
permits.

Don't take chances! Unless you have a Cambridge resident sticker, there is
no local street parking. Meter feeding isn't an option, as you will be
ticketed if you exceed the posted limit. Also, you cannot risk leaving your
car in a residential space, supermarket or mall lot (such as the friendly
Porter Square mall), as heavy surveillance is always present. Cars will be
towed, and we all know how unpleasant that experience can be!

To expedite registration, please pay in advance by check or money order,
up until October 20th. You may also pay in person at the meeting.

Thanks go to the fall meeting committee for their commitment to excellence,
ingenuity, and scholarly wisdom. Program Committee chair Jeremy Bennett
from Yale University has set up a wiki for planning; this has been a great
experience.

Other Committee members are:
Thomas Hammond, Host, Harvard University
Cynthia Bravo, Boston College
Marisa Castagno, Connecticut College
Emily Wentworth, Yale University.

Sincerely,

Debra H. Mandel,
