The Foreign Language lab supports instruction in Arabic, Chinese, French,
German, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Latin, Portuguese, Russian,
Spanish and Swahili.  Required Qualifications:  Master$E2Aos degree with
emphasis on pedagogy and the use of technology in foreign language
education; native or near-native fluency in one of the languages listed
above.  Additional Qualifications Desired:  Ph.D.; experience in
administration; demonstrated excellence in the classroom; experience in
writing and directing grants. Responsibilities:  collaborates with faculty
in applying technology to foreign language instruction; administers daily
operations, budget and staff; offers and/or organizes workshops in foreign
language pedagogy; teaches one foreign language class per semester.  An
offer of employment is contingent on a satisfactory pre-employment
background check.  Applications will be reviewed immediately with an
application deadline of September 8, 2006, or until candidate is selected.
