I provide computer support for a new professor from Israel who needs
to create Word documents using voice recognition, due to difficulties
with typing for long periods. He could not remember the name of the
software he used at his previous teaching position, but the problem
he had was training it to understand his accent.

So, the question is whether there is any software that does
particularly well with understanding English spoken with an accent of
any kind. My experience with this issue is nil, so please, any help
we can get would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dennis Meek, Asian & African Languages and Literature Desktop & MEC
