This weekend I attended a committee meeting for next month's Japan
Association for Language Education & Technology (LET). Of the 20 people
present, seven had laptops. There were two Macs, and all the rest were
Panasonic, with at least three different models represented. After the
meeting I asked why and was told that they were light, very reliable and had
decent battery length. In fact, during the 3-hour meeting, only one of the
five had a power-adaptor plugged in.

I hope this helps.

Cheers,
  Tom
