Not that this really helps you, but it runs fine for me... VDocNumber was
returned as 106659883 (2ghz Intel Core Duo, 10.4.6, Script Debugger 4).

Run later in Script Editor, it returned 106661284.

And, if Steve's on the right track, my laptop's using the Gregorian calendar
and default US date formats.
