Early on I had them recompile the script on their machine. I was certain
that would solve it and was surprised when it didn't.

The above reminds me that originally they were reporting a negative number.
I made changes, they stil got an error, I made more changes, they still got
an error, but I'm not sure if it's still negative. The negative didn't make
sense, it would suggest that something is wrong with the "current date". I'm
going to revisit this as soon as I can. I'm not able to visit the site at
present.
