This is for those of you who have interest in using the Flash
Communication Server (now renamed Flash Media Server) to do web-based
audio recording. I will be leading a full-day pre-conference workshop
on the software at CALICO this year. I will essentially perform a brain
dump for you, sharing all the techniques that I've acquired over the
last three years of using this exciting software. The workshop is
hands-on, with handouts and code samples. I plan to have you create
finished projects as an outcome of the workshop.

The workshop is aimed at people with a bit of technical knowledge, but
you don't have to be a bit-head to benefit. Why not come, and bring
your programmer, too?

You can get a detailed description of the workshop, and register online
at CALICO's website: http://calico1.modlang.txstate.edu/index.php?id=6

The added bonus of coming to this workshop is that it will be held on
Tuesday. Since the conference begins on Thursday, you'll have a free
day on Wednesday, so you can lay on the beach in Hawaii! (you might
want to remove this paragraph when you forward the message to your
boss, and ask for funding to come to the workshop.)

You can contact me if you need more information. I'm looking forward to
seeing LLTIers at the conference.
