I hate to ask a silly question, but what is CPS?

Purdue Cal is using CPS in introductory French classes, and the students
(and faculty) really like it! I know it has caught the attention of at
least McGraw-Hill, who is seriously considering producing content for
some French titles now that they realize that Language teachers actually
have an interest in CPS.

I think it will gain wider acceptance now that it integrates seamlessly
with WebCT/Blackboard, and hopefully soon, with products like Quia and
Respondus...
