Classic does not run under Rosetta. So, in effect, no Apple-supported 
OS9 on Intel Macs.

Format Firewire drive for Intel Mac's partition scheme; you can boot from that.

A single Mac OS X image cannot boot both PPC and Intel. Currently, 
you have to use separate images.

Supposedly, Apple is working towards use of universal boot image, but 
no indication if that will actually occur prior to OSX 10.5.
