The next step in developing a comprehensive AS-automated network-wide
back-up to DMG is to overcome the fact that some computers on the
network go to sleep.

Apparently I need to send a Wake-On-LAN packet to the sleepy heads.

How does one accomplish THAT using AS techniques?

I suspect that I could do that via the do shell script. But I'm
unfamiliar with the basic call. Is there such a beastie in the
Terminal? Or am I going to have to search elsewhere?

Regards,

Chuck
