Hello Barbarella:

Wire Tap does the trick. Maybe you did not set it up correctly. Set it to * 
MacAudio & Microphone * when making a recording.  Or wait:  did you get the 
Pro version?  You'll need that.  $ 19.00, and worth every penny! Call me if 
you need further info.
