The South Central Association for Language Learning Technology
invites SOCALLT/IALLT members and other interested professionals to
participate in our next annual meeting. Proposals should address
issues and innovations in technology-enhanced language instruction,
with a special focus on motivating the language learner. We encourage
participation from not only from colleagues at universities but also
community colleges and high schools.
Deadline for proposals: November 30, 2005.
Topics can include but are not limited to the following:
$E1 pedagogical programs and techniques
$E1 challenges of technology and teaching at different levels and
institutions
$E1 student-centered learning
$E1 distance learning
$E1 course management programs involving testing, homework
submission, teacher-student communication, etc.
$E1 streamed audio and video distribution
$E1 distribution of materials for less commonly taught languages
$E1 cultural communication.
Submit proposals for individual or joint presentations,
demonstrations, and panel discussions to:
